The Parisiennes are back in training!

This Thursday, the Paris Saint Germain women’s team were at the Stade Jean Bouin for a series of physical and medical tests. Here’s a look at what awaits our Parisiennes in the weeks to come.

It was in small groups that Olivier Echouafni's players found each other today, starting a series of tests that will continue on Friday and Saturday, in between Jean Bouin and the training centre at Bougival.

After a rest day on Sunday and then training on the pitches on Monday, the players from the capital club will start to prepare for the matches to come carried over from the previous season that will be finished this summer.

At the end of July, several friendly matches have been scheduled, and then will come the competitive matches. Qualified for the semi-finals of the Coupe de France, the Parisiennes could take on Bordeaux at the start of August, with a potential final to be played following on from that. Then the  Rouge et Bleu will head into European mode as they take part in the Final 8 of the UEFA Women's Champions League that will be played in the Basque country (in San Sebastian and Bilbao).

Arsenal lie in wait for the Parisiennes, with the quarter-final against the English club due to be played on August 21 or 22. Should Paris qualify, then they'll be in semi-final action on August 25 or 26, while the final is slated for August 20 in San Sebastian.

A mouthwatering fixture list that will be full of emotion, while waiting for the return of D1 Arkema, with the first matches in the domestic league to be held on September 5.
