The Parisians beat Kharkiv to continue perfect run

Didier Ollé-Nicolle's players won 6-0 in UEFA Champions League Matchday 5 action the cold Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. Paris Saint-Germain Women remain on a perfect run of 100% victories this campaign!

Already qualified for the knockout rounds before Matchday 5, the Parisians were nonetheless intent on maintaining their positive dynamic on Wednesday. Brilliant on the European scene since the beginning of the season, Les Rouge et Bleu did just that, notching a resounding 6-0 win in Ukraine.

Then, in a flash of lightning in the polar cold, Laurina Fazer scored her first goal for Paris, a thundering shot that rocketed into the top corner of the Ukrainian goal (0-5, 44'). Amanda Ilestedt then scored the sixth goal of the evening, on the spot to nod home after she had stayed in the area the poor clearance of a corner by the Kharkiv defence (0-6, 54').

Although the evening was almost perfect, Estelle Cascarino did see red towards the end of the game (80'), but it without consequence on the scorecard and not enough to tarnish a victory that saw Didier Ollé-Nicolle's players continue their imperious campaign at full steam!
