The girls celebrate at Disneyland Paris
The Paris Saint-Germain Women's team celebrated the end of the 2018-19 season with a team outing to Disneyland Paris on Tuesday.
Players, coaches, medical staff and club employees met up at the famous fun park for one last time before the internationals join up with their respective national teams ahead of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2019, that kicks off at the Parc des Princes on 7 June.
At the end of an excellent campaign, the team finished second with just one defeat all year and qualified for the UEFA Women’s Champions League. They finished second in the league, in what was a promising campaign for the young squad led by its experienced elements such as Formiga and Irene Paredes, who recently both signed new contract extensions.
Around ten players will now prepare for the World Cup in France while the others enjoy a well-earned break before pre-season training starts again in July.
