Stéphanie Labbé signs for Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce the signing of Stéphanie Labbé through to 30 June 2022, with an option for a further year.

The 35-year-old goalkeeper started her professional career in Sweden, playing for Pitea IF (2009-11) before joining KIF Orebro DFF (2011-14).

The Canada international then returned to North America before taking a break from the game. She returned in March 2018 when she signed for the Calgary Foothills, a men's team playing in the Canadian top flight. League rules prevented her from making a single appearance.

She has crossed the Atlantic a number of teams to play with Linkopings FC (Sweden), North Carolina Courage (USA), where she won the NWSL title, and Rosengard (Sweden).

She has collected 67 caps after making her international debut in 2008, picking up an Olympic bronze medal at the Rio Games in 2016 and a runners-up medal at the 2018 CONCACAF Women's Championship.

She also won gold at the recent Tokyo Olympics alongside two Parisians, Jordyn Huitema and Ashley Lawrence.

Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to welcome Stéphanie to the Club and wish her every success in her new colours.
