Sarah Bouhaddi joins Paris Saint-Germain through to 2023

Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the signature of Sarah Bouhaddi for next season. The France international has signed a one-year contract with the Rouge et Bleu through to 30 June 2023.

Born in Cannes, Sarah Bouhaddi started playing at the top level at CNFE Clairefontaine in 2002. Four years later, she joined Toulouse for a season before moving to FCF Juvisy, where she played until 2009.

Named Best Goalkeeper in the World four times (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020), she then played for Olympique Lyonnais, winning 12 French titles, eight Coupes de France, one Trophée des Championnes and eight UEFA Women’s Champions Leagues. She played 306 games in all competitions for OL. Last season, the 35-year-old played on loan at OL Reign.

After playign at U19 and U20 level, Sarah Bouhaddi was called up to France’s senior squad for the first time in February 2004 for a friendly with Scotland. With the Bleues, she won the She Believes Cup (2017), two Cyprus tournaments (2012, 2014) and a Tournoi de France (2020). She currently has 149 caps.
