Sara Däbritz signs for 3 years with Paris Saint-Germain
Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the signing of German international midfielder Sara Däbritz on a three year contract from 1 July 2019 until 30 June 2022.
The 24-year-old Amberg-born Bavarian began her professional career in 2012 with SC Freiburg, playing 79 matches and scoring 10 goals. In 2015 Sara joined Bayern Munich, going on to spend four seasons with the Bavarian club, making 109 appearances, netting 39 goals and winning the German championship in the 2015-2016 season.
With the German National Team Däbritz won the 2012 European U17 Championship before getting her first call-up to the senior squad the following year, going on to win UEFA Euro 2013. In 2014, Sara played for the U20 team, winning the U20 World Cup before topping it all off with the gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, scoring a goal in Germany’s semi-final victory over Sweden. Now with 59 caps and 10 goals to her name, Sara is preparing to represent Germany at the upcoming World Cup in France from June 7 to July 7.
