Sandy Baltimore: 'It's like a final'

With the Last 16 Coupe de France tie against Olympique Lyonnais fast approaching, Sandy Baltimore told PSG TV about her approach to the big game.

Sandy, how are you feeling ahead of the Lyon game?

"I feel really good. We're preparing well in training, and we're really looking forward to it. It's a high intensity match that always has a special flavour to it. It's like a final. But we're ready to play. A match against Lyon is always special. I remember the Coupe de France final when we beat them in 2018. I came off the bench and was very young, it's a good memory."

A Last 16 tie against Lyon is a big game. Is this competition one the squad is looking to win?

"It's one of the squad's goals, that's for sure. It's a different competition to the league, but it's just as important. We want to go as far as possible in every competition."

How are you approaching the second half of the season?

"Our aim is to win every competition. We'll do everything we can for that. We mustn't rule out any team. Everyone's at the same level. You saw last weekend between Lyon and Montpellier that anything can happen. Lyon went for the win out of sheer mental strength."

You have the most assists this season, are you proud?

"Of course, I'm really proud. I'm very happy to be the leading assister, but the league isn't finished. There are a lot of games left and I'm going to keep working hard to finish the season at the top of the chart."
