Sakina Karchaoui extends with Paris Saint-Germain until 2028
Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce the extension of Sakina Karchaoui's contract for a further four years. The French international is now tied to the club until 30th June 2028.
Sakina Karchaoui, who arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in 2021, joined Montpellier HSC's youth academy at the age of 13 before signing her first professional contract. After eight seasons with the club's first team, the left-back spent a year with Olympique Lyonnais.
In the summer of 2021, the French international joined Paris-Saint Germain, where she has established herself as a key player in the squad. She has now played 94 games and scored 6 goals for Les Rouge et Bleu.
Exemplary in her position, Sakina Karchaoui has been voted into the last two Arkema D1 teams of the season.
The 28-year-old Parisian has earned 72 caps for the French national team and scored her first goal for Les Bleues last March against Germany in the semi-finals of the Nations League.
The Club is delighted with Sakina Karchaoui's extension, which symbolizes Paris Saint-Germain's ambition for its women's team in the future.
"It's a great day for me, I really wanted to continue my career at Paris Saint-Germain. I'm blossoming within this team and I'm proud of what we've achieved so far. With the Club, we share very high ambitions for our women's section, and I'm convinced that we're going to make the Red and Blue jersey shine, but also women's soccer, on a national and international scale, in the years to come."
