Sabrina Delannoy on the quarter-finals

After Laure Boulleau and Nadia Benmokhtar, Sabrina Delannoy is back to give her views on the FIFA Women's World Cup quarter-finals, and the host nation's exit.

France knocked out
"There was an exceptional atmosphere at the Parc des Princes and everyone was behind the girls. I think the people watching on TV believed they could do it too. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough. It's true we are all disappointed, for the French team, but also for the players, who were really hurt by the defeat. We saw Kadi [Diani] in great form during the World Cup. We also spared a thought for Ève [Périsset] and Grace [Geyoro], who were at their first World Cup. In spite of everything, they must have had some unforgettable moments! Seeing full stadums, the fans right behind them…I hope they'll use this experience to grow and that we'll see them again in four years at the next World Cup."

Hanna Glas in the semi-finals
"Hanna [Glas] and Sweden created the biggest surprise of this World Cup, knocking out Sara Däbritz's Germany, who also miss out on the Olympic Games, that's a huge blow. Sweden will now take on the Netherlands in the last four. Sweden are looking good, and have the right weapons to cause the Dutch, who are the reigning European champions, a lot of problems. In any case, it's a great experience for Hanna. I hope she goes all the way and picks up the world title."
