Ramona Bachmann extends her contract with Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce that Ramona Bachmann has signed a two-year contract extension. The Swiss international is now tied to the club until 30th June 2025.

Bachmann’s football career started out at FC Luzern Frauen, where she signed her first professional contract in 2005. After two seasons there, the striker signed for Swedish side Umeå IK on a two-year deal. She then plied her trade in the United States for a few months, playing for Atlanta Beat, before returning to Umeå IK.

In the summer of 2011, Bachmann joined FC Rosengård, where she won two Swedish league titles before leaving in 2015. After a season in Germany with VfL Wolfsburg, the Swiss joined Chelsea, bagging herself two Women’s Super League titles (in 2017 and 2019) as well as the Women’s FA Cup in 2018.

Having joined Paris Saint-Germain in the 2020 summer transfer window, the no. 10 has made 80 appearances and scored 18 goals for Les Rouge et Bleu, as well as winning the 2020–21 Division 1 Féminine title and the 2021–22 Coupe de France Féminine.

A senior international since 2007, the 32-year-old now has 131 caps and 57 goals under her belt for La Nati.

The club would like to congratulate Ramona on her latest contract extension and wish her the best of luck for the next two seasons.
