Paris Saint-Germain wishes its international players an epic and successful Women's World Cup

Twelve Paris Saint-Germain players are busy preparing for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which kicks off on Thursday 20 July in New Zealand.

Speaking on behalf of the club, Chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi has offered them all the following message of encouragement: “Sending my best wishes and unwavering support to all the players of Paris Saint Germain as they embark on their World Cup adventure in Australia and New Zealand. You’ve worked so hard to get here and to represent France, Denmark, Brazil, Switzerland and Holland. Nothing is stronger than your talent, resilience, and determination. I know you’ll leave your mark on the pitch, and you’ll make your fans around the world very proud.”

Six of the Paris Saint-Germain dozen are representing France (Grace Geyoro, Sakina Karchaoui, Elisa De Almeida, Laurina Fazer, Estelle Cascarino and Constance Picaud), while Ramona Bachmann and Viola Calligaris will be running out for Switzerland, Lieke Martens and Jackie Groenen for the Netherlands, Ana Vitoria for Brazil, and Amalie Vangsgaard for Denmark.

Paris Saint-Germain fans can follow their France players when Les Bleues take on Jamaica on 23 July, Brazil on 29 July and Panama on 2 August. As for the club’s Swiss, Danish, Dutch and Brazilian stars, they will feature in their country’s respective opening matches against Philippines on 21 July, China PR on 22 July, Portugal on 23 July, and Panama on 24 July.
