Geyoro wins D1 Player of the Month for April
Paris Saint-Germain women's midfielder Grace Geyoro has won the D1 Player of the Month award for April.
In the running for the title of player of the season with her teammate Kadidiatou Diani and Lyon's Delphine Cascarino at the D1 Trophies to be awarded on Monday 15 May, the French international, The French international, who scored a league goal in April in the club from the capital's 1-0 win at Guingamp, received 52% of the votes, ahead of FC Fleury 91's Julie Piga (25.5%) and Montpellier Hรฉrault SC's Faustine Robert (22.5%).
Grace Geyoro is thus crowned for the first time in her career, the second time a Rouge et Bleu player has won the trophy this season after Diani in October 2022, and the eighth time a player from the club from the capital has won the trophy since its creation at the start of the 2020-2021 season, a record ahead of the six trophies won by Olympique Lyonnais and the five won by FC Girondins de Bordeaux.
