Paris go down in final
The Paris Saint-Germain Women's team lost 4-3 on penalties to Montpellier after the final of the Women's French Cup 2019 ended 1-1 at the end of regulation time at the Stade Michel Bendichou in Colomiers.
Olivier Echouafni's players opened the scoring through Grace Geyoro with a curling effort after a neat one-two in the box (1-0, 40'). But Montpellier equalised in the 80th minute through Valerie Gauvin from the penalty spot (1-1, 80').
The penalty shoot-out went MHSC's way 4-3. There was some consolation for the Paris squad as Grace Geyoro was named Player of the Tournament.
