Paris entertain Montpellier in big D1 clash

This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain host Montpellier in Week 16 of the Women's Division 1, at 18:30 at the Stade Jean-Bouin.

A week after defeating Le Havre 1-0 and qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France, Les Parisiennes are back in league action this weekend. Despite the dificult training conditions this week in the snow and rain, Ashley Lawrence is confident: "We have worked really well this week and we need to carry that into the weekend now." Montpellier are currently third in the league, level with Bordeaux, 17 points behind Les Rouge et Bleu. Defender Perle Morroni who started out at Montpellier is wary of the opposition: "It's a big match and it's great to play these types of big games. We will have to be very focused."

In the first meeting this season, Olivier Echouafni's side won 3-0 thanks to a Kadidiatou Diani brace and a goal from Signe Bruun. The Paris Saint-Germain coach wants to build on that win this weekend: "We played very well in the first game this season, but Saturday will be a very different match.  Montpellier have changed a lot and it will be a great game in front of our supporters."

Get to kick-off at 18:30 CET at the Stade Jean-Bouin to cheer on Les Rouge et Bleu! Tickets on sale at the ground from 17:00 CET.
