Nicole Payne: "It's something I've always dreamed of"
Newly arrived at Paris Saint-Germain from the United States, Nicole Payne spoke to PSG TV for the first time following her signing.
Nicole, how do you feel after signing for Paris Saint-Germain?
"It's something I've always dreamed of! I became a professional player when I was a teenager, and I've grown up playing football since I was four, so to experience a moment like this is very special. I'm really grateful to be here."
Tell us a bit about yourself as a player...
"I'm a quick player and I love to get forward. I know I have a more defensive mentality, but I like to get forward and join the attack."
What do you think of the French championship?
"I love this league, it's very competitive. There are a lot of incredible players, especially at Paris Saint-Germain. I can't wait to join them and be part of this team."
What are your goals in Paris?
"My goals are to win the UEFA Women's Champions League and the league, but also to get on well with my team-mates, the coach and the staff. I'm really happy to be here!"
