Netherlands suffer defeat to Germany

Jackie Groenen’s and Lieke Martens-van Leer’s Netherlands fell to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Germany last night in the 2023–2024 UEFA Women’s Nations League third-place play-off at Heerenveen’s Abe Lenstra Stadion.

Both Parisiennes started the game, with the latter of the two coming off with five minutes left to play.
