Paris to face Montpellier in the Coupe de France quarters

Paris Saint-Germain's women's team will travel to their Montpellier counterparts in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France on either Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th March.

The capital club, who won the competition in 2010 and 2018 and are currently second in Division 1 Féminine, will travel to the league's fifth-placed side, who lifted the Coupe in 2006, 2007 and 2009. Les Rouge et Bleue have knocked out Dijon (0-0, 5-4 on pens) and Lyon (3-0) on their way to the quarter-finals, whilst Les Héraultaises have made it past Saint-Étienne (7-2) and Marssac (6-0).

Paris and Montpellier have already crossed paths this season, with Les Rouge et Bleue winning 1-0 in their second game of the league season on Friday 3rd September at the Stade Bernard Gasset, thanks to an 8th-minute penalty from Sara Däbritz. The two sides will meet each other for a third time on Matchday 16 at the Stade Georges Lefèvre in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, one week after the quarter-final clash.
