LUANA BERTOLUCCI PAIXÃO JOINS PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN

Luana signed her first professional contract in 2013 with Centro Olimpico in Sao Paulo, moving to Europe in 2015 - aged 22 - when she joined Avaldnes in Norway. After four seasons, 88 appearances, 17 goals, and a Norwegian Cup win in 2017, she left to join South Korean outfit KSPO WFC Hwacheon.

Having worked her way through Brazil's youth teams, she now has three senior caps, including two appearances in last summer's FIFA Women's World Cup in France.

The 26-year-old midfielder joins the squad on a six-month deal.

"I'm very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain. Paris have a lot of big games coming up in the second half of the season, whether it be in the league, the Coupe de France or the Women's Champions League. I'm looking forward to joining up with the squad and settling in quickly. I'll be proud to wear this shirt that is so well regarded in my country, where Paris Saint-Germain is thought of as one of the biggest clubs in the world," she said after signing her contract with the Rouge-et-Bleu.
