Martens wins D1 Arkema Goal of the Season award
Paris Saint-Germain forward Lieke Martens has won the Goal of the Season award at the D1 Arkema end of season awards ceremony, on Monday evening.
The Dutch international's stunning strike against Dijon FCO on 15 October 2022 was voted the season's best by the fans.
With 33.6% of the votes, she just edged out Christy Gavory (Le Havre AC) with 33.4%, as well as Faustine Robert (Montpellier HSC) and Madeline Roth (Dijon FCO).
