Les Parisiennes take home the derby!
Didier Ollé-Nicolle’s side were back in league action at Fleury on Sunday. Les Parisiennes came out on top in the derby, winning 0-4 and continuing their excellent run!
After an international break during which Les Parisiennes shone, Arkema D1 returned this weekend, with a derby at Fleury for Les Rouge et Bleu. The objective was clear: keep winning in order to pile on the pressure at the top of the table.
Having scored for Les Bleues during the Tournoi de France against Finland, it was Grace Geyoro who set her side on the right path at the Stade Auguste Gentelet. In the 8th minute, the Paris captain found the back of the net and the derby was underway (0-1, 8’).
Paulina Dudek got the second from the penalty spot as Les Parisiennes extended their lead in a perfectly managed performance (0-2, 22’). Diani made things worse for the hosts, at the second time of asking from the penalty spot, as her side began to run away with the derby (0-3, 62’).
Ramona Bachmann capped off the Paris performance in style, as the Swiss international stole the ball from the opposition’s goalkeeper path after being beautifully played down the right (0-4, 88’).
The perfect way for Les Parisiennes to prepare for the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France against Montpellier on Saturday 5 March!
