Les Parisiennes sweep aside Dijon!

The Paris Saint-Germain Women's team have recorded a big 5-0 win over Dijon in their D1 Arkema clash on Friday evening!

A month after having overcome Dijon in the Coupe de France, the two met again in the league. Didier Ollé-Nicolle intended on fielding the same winning line-up as the one that defeated Guingamp 6-2 the previous week, but was forced into a late change when Ramona Bachmann replaced Kadidiatou Diani shortly before kick-off.

The match started perfectly at the Camp des Loges when, with less than three minutes on the clock, Marie-Antoinette Katoto set up Grace Geyoro to give her team the lead (1-0, 3'). It was the second goal in two matches for the Rouge et Bleu skipper! Les Parisiennes continued to attack and who else than the best striker in the history of the club to add the second? On the end of an excellent cross from Sandy Baltimore, Katoto turned the ball home (2-0, 15').  The best assists provider in D1 for the competition's top goal scorer!

The French champions refused to rest on their laurels as Baltimore's long-range effort (33') and Bachmann's raid (40') attested. The No.9 Katoto then nabbed a second from another pin-point cross, this time from Ashley Lawrence (3-0, 42')

The start of the second half brought more of the same as this time, Katoto turned provider for Baltimore to add goal number four (4-0, 58'). Sara Dabritz netted goal number five with a direct free-kick (5-0, 70'). Jordyn Huitema and Luana came on in the last quarter of an hour, and despite more chances, there was no further change to the scoring.

The Paris Saint-Germain players head off on international duty on the back of another excellent team performance. Les Rouge et Bleu return to action with a derby versus FC Fleury 91.
