Les Parisiennes are into the semi-finals of the Coupe de France !

Didier Ollé-Nicolle's team were back in the Coupe de France this Saturday when they travelled to the Hérault region, and ending up leaving with a 3-1 victory to continue their superb run.

Less than a week after their convincing win in the derby against Fleury 91, Paris was back in the Coupe de France this Saturday under the blue sky of Hérault. After brilliantly beating Lyon 3-0 in the previous round, Les Parisiennes were determined to maintain their form to book a place in the semi-finals. Coach Didier Ollé-Nicolle opted for a front three composed of Diani, Katoto and Baltimore.

The Parisians showed their commitment to attack from the start, first through Sara Dabritz, who fed Sandy Baltimore (3'), and then through Captain Geyoro, who sent Kadidiatou Diani through on goal (8'). It was not until the quarter-hour mark that Montpellier began to attack, with Robert attempting a right-footed shot (15').

The Franciliennes continued their clear domination with chances from Dabritz (17') and Diani (20'). The game was full of the intensity you would expect from a hotly contested knockout match. The breakthrough eventually came when a superb right-footed shot from Kheira Hamraoui landed in the top corner (0-1, 35'). This was Hamraoui's first goal of the season and was a massive blow for Montpellier, who struggled to respond in the first half.

After the break, the club from the capital picked up where they left off and continued to make their opponents suffer. The first attack came from Dabritz with a beautiful curled shot, but it was not long before the Parisians were celebrating again, when captain Geyoro got on the scoresheet after a cross by Katoto (0-2, 51').

It was then the turn of the club's all-time top scorer to score. The ball was put on a plate by Dabritz for Katoto, who headed home (0-3, 64'). The Parisians were in control of the match, but Maëlle Lakrar scored for the home side with a header of her own (1-3, 72'). Determined to fight until the end, the hosts kept going and gave Barbora Votikova a few scares. But thanks to a strong defence, the score remained unchanged, which means that Paris progresses to the semi-finals of the Coupe de France! With this win, the capital club extends its unbeaten run to 12 consecutive matches without defeat (11 wins and 1 draw).

Paris Saint-Germain's women's team booked their ticket to the semi-finals of the Coupe de France after an accomplished victory . The Parisians will find out their opponent in the draw which will take place on Monday 7 March at 12pm. Next up for Didier Ollé-Nicolle's players is the visit of Montpellier, once again, for the 16th match day of D1, on Friday 11 March at 9pm at Stade Jean Bouin.
