Korbin Albert's United States lose to Mexico

Korbin Albert’s United States fell to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Mexico last night in their third and final group game at the 2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup.

The only real consequence of The Stars and Stripes' defeat is that they finish second in Group A, behind Mexico, but Korbin Albert and co. have still made it through to the quarter-finals of the competition – which will be played in the early hours (CET) of Sunday 3rd March and Monday 4th March – with the Americans finding out their opponents in the next round this Thursday.

Against Mexico, the Paris player came on with 20 minutes left to play.
