Kadidiatou Diani: "The most important thing is to play our game"

"It's satisfying, it was an opportunity for us to face a high-performing opponent, Spanish champions, recently European champion, so it's very useful. It allows us to know the areas in which we played well, and especially the path we still have to take, with all the young players who were part of the squad. The return of the internationals? It's good that we were able to give them some playing time, it will allow us to prepare the rest of the training. When you have five players of this level, it brings a considerable bonus, and it has helped to give a positive image of Paris Saint-Germain.

The assessment of this competition? Great! Once again, congratulations to the organisers. It's so important to have a tournament like this, it's difficult to find warm-up matches. So a tournament where we meet the best, it allows us to prepare well for the beginning of the season."

"It's true that after two weeks of holidays and a week of returning to training, I think it was important for us to feel good. So today we came on at the end of the game and it went well, even if we didn't get the win in the end. But the most important thing was really to get back up to speed. We're working on new foundations, we're trying to put new things in place, so the most important thing is to play our game, and to find our feet with the new coach. That's what we tried to do today and I think it was pretty good.

The season ahead? It's important to generate as much confidence as possible, even if we didn't win today, I think that will come gradually."
