Jocelyn PrĂȘcheur: 'I can have no criticism of my players'

The Paris Saint-Germain Women's coach Jocelyn Prêcheur and Grace Geyoro spoke to PSG TV after Les Rouge et Bleue's defeat against Olympique Lyonnais in the second leg of the UEFA Women's Champions League semi-final (1-2).

JOCELYN PrĂȘcheur

"We still have a level of frustration with the result, even though we played a really good match. Sure, the start didn't help us, but afterwards, we came back strongly. We had a great first half where we dominated the game. We pushed them back into their half, which they're not used to, and we were rewarded for it. However, unfortunately, we exposed ourselves because we had to score. Lyon pushed back and were effective on the counter. We made some small errors at key moments in the match where we needed to be a bit stronger. Overall, I can have no criticism of my players - they gave their all on the pitch, they really fought to try to get a better result in front of our supporters. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough this evening. There's obviously a lot of disappointment, but also pride in the team's journey. There's hope too, we can build for the short term future, with the two domestic trophies we have to play for. We want to win and bring trophies back to Paris Saint-Germain."

GRACE GEYORO

"A lot of disappointment. We wanted to reach the final, that's what we worked for. It didn't go our way this afternoon, but we have to keep going. Next week, we have a cup final. We'll keep working and it will pay off. We were still involved in all three competitions, which is never easy. Now there are only two left. We'll prepare well for the rest of the season for a good finish."
