Jade Le Guilly: "We'll be counting on the fans to help us get through"

Paris Saint-Germain manager as well as Jade Le Guilly spoke to PSG TV after Les Rouge et Bleu’s 2-1 win over BK Häcken in the first leg of their UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-final.

"It's good to come away from here with the win, which few teams have done so far, so it's a positive. We were committed enough, but in these high-level games, I think that we could be more consistent and manage the game better when we're on the back foot. I think we can be better in the second leg, although we can see that Häcken are a very good team. Like I'd said, they get forward very quickly and are great on the counter.

"We need to put certain things right and to put in a better performance at the Parc, and to do so, we really will need the fans. The supporters being there is vital. We like playing at the Parc and being in front of our own fans, so it'll naturally make a difference. We had two or three bits of bad news in terms of injuries tonight, so we're expecting a tough game in the second leg. We'll need to fight, and the fans will make a difference, as they have done before."

Jade Le Guilly

"Tonight, we put in a big performance and scored two goals, which is really good, and we can now go into the second leg at the Parc des Princes next Thursday a goal to the good. We'll be counting on the fans, the ultras and everyone else to help us get through. It's not over yet; we'll also need to win at the Parc des Princes to make it through."
