Jade Le Guilly: 'A high-level match'

Jade Le Guilly spoke to PSG TV ahead of the decisive UEFA Women's Champions League Matchday 3 clash with AS Roma at the Parc des Princes on Thursday 14 December (21:00).

WHAT DID YOU MAKE OF THE FIRST TWO MATCHES?

"They were big games. We played against good teams. We missed a few things and conceded a few goals that we could have avoided. But we've put those games behind us and we're going to focus on this game against Roma."

WHAT COULD MAKE THE DIFFERENCE COMPARED TO OTHER MATCHES?

"I think team spirit will make the difference. We've had a lot of discussions with each other and with the coaching staff, and we've been working on new tactics. I think our state of mind and our determination will win us points and matches."

THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IS A VERY SPECIAL COMPETITION...

"There's always more pressure when you play in this competition, and our aim is to go as far as possible. The first two matches left us with a bitter taste, but with the determination of the whole group, we can go out and win."

HOW WILL THE SQUAD APPROACH THIS DECISIVE ENCOUNTER?

"There will be a mixture of motivation and pressure. Of course, there's always pressure before any big match, and this time it's because of what's at stake. We're going to be playing a big game, and we're playing for our future in the competition. As top-level sportswomen, we love these matches and this pressure."

DO YOU HAVE A MESSAGE FOR THE FANS?

"It's going to be a great game, a high-level match with some very good players on the pitch. It's going to be a great spectacle, and it'll be a great way of promoting women's football at the Parc des Princes!"
