International break round-up

Eighteen players from the Paris Saint-Germain Women's Team were back with their respective national teams during the international break.

CONSTANCE PICAUD / ELISA DE ALMEIDA / SAKINA KARCHAOUI / JADE LE GUILLY / GRACE GEYORO / ORIANE JEAN-FRANÇOIS / LAURINA FAZER / SANDY BALTIMORE - FRANCE

The French Women's team of Constance Picaud, Elisa De Almeida, Sakina Karchaoui, Jade Le Guilly, Grace Geyoro, Oriane Jean-François, Laurina Fazer and Sandy Baltimore played two matches during the international break in the UEFA Women's Nations League. Firstly, Les Bleues beat Portugal 2-0 on Friday 22 September at the Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes. Paris captain Grace Geyoro was on target against the Portuguese. On Matchday 2 of the UEFA Women's Nations League group stage, Hervé Renard's side beat Austria 1-0 at Vienna's Viola Park. A good start for Les Bleues, who are top of Group A2 with 6 points, ahead of Portugal.

JACKIE GROENEN / LIEKE MARTENS - netherlands

The two red-and-blue Dutch players also had Nations League business to attend to. First, the Oranje Leeuwinnen lost 2-1 away to Belgium at Leuven's Den Dreef stadium. Jackie Groenen and Lieke Martens made up for it at home against England, with the Parisian No 11 scoring in the 2-1 Dutch win at the Stadion Galgenwaard in Utrecht.

VIOLA CALLIGARIS / RAMONA BACHMANN - Switzerland

The Swiss played two Women's Nations League matches during the international break. First, the two Parisians lost 1-0 at home to Italy at the St. Gallen Arena. Viola Calligaris and Ramona Bachmann then travelled to Spain, where they lost 5-0 to the reigning world champions.

AMALIE VANGSGAARD - Denmark

The Parisienne was successful during the international break. At home, the Danish national team beat Germany 2-0, with Amalie Vangsgaard scoring twice, at the Viborg Stadion in Viborg. The red-and-blue striker then travelled with her national team to Wales, at Cardiff City Stadium, where Denmark came out on top, with a final score of 5-1.

KATARZYNA KIEDRZYNEK - POLand

After losing 3-1 to Greece on Matchday 1 of the Women's Nations League, the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper was able to get back to winning ways. Poland beat Ukraine 2-1 at home in Gdynia's Stadion Miejski.

Alyssa Fernandes / Tara Elimbi Gilbert / Landryna Lushimba Bilombi /Fanny Rossi / Naolia Traoré - France U19

The French U19 women's team played two friendly matches during the international break. The young French team lost 5-2 to the Netherlands at the Sportpark Parkzicht stadium in Uden, despite a goal from Tara Elimbi Gilbert. Les Bleuettes then took on Austria, again in the Netherlands, where a 2-2 draw finished off the international break.
