Grace Geyoro: "We know we have to produce a big performance"

On the eve of the UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-final return leg between Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, Grace Geyoro describes the mood in the locker room before the crucial meeting at Jean Bouin.

Grace, how is the group feeling before the return leg against Chelsea?

"We are motivated and determined. After the first leg, we know we have to produce a big performance on Wednesday night and we hope that the girls will be in good shape to play their best and qualify."

How did you analyze the first leg in the locker room after the match?

"There was bound to be a lot of disappointment. We couldn't reproduce on the pitch what we had worked on in training. And we did not get the right opportunities, so there was a lot of frustration...but we questioned our approach, now we are working a lot over the five days between the two matches to prepare for the second leg."

What is it going to take to quality?

It will take a lot of effort, all together. It will be necessary to set up our game efficiently to take advantage of the opportunities that we create."

How is the preparation for this game coming to a close?

"We are all together, we are working together, we are trying to understand what didn't work so we can correct it and change the situation."
