Geyoro receives her D1 Player of the Month award for April

Paris Saint-Germain women's midfielder Grace Geyoro was awarded the D1 Arkema Women's Player of the Month award on Tuesday 16 May.

Just after being named in the Arkema D1 team of the season, Grace Geyoro was handed her trophy by Laurent Pionnier, representative of the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP). The Parisian was able to share this moment with her teammates before the day's training.

Grace Geyoro won the title for the first time in her career, the second time a Rouge et Bleu player has won the trophy this season after Kadidiatou Diani in October 2022, and the eighth time a player from the club from the capital has won the trophy since its creation at the start of the 2020-2021 season, a record ahead of the six trophies won by Olympique Lyonnais and the five won by FC Girondins de Bordeaux. The French international thus succeeds Lyon's Amel Majri.

Paris Saint-Germain rewarded

As a reminder, 5 players were rewarded during the UNFP D1 Arkema trophy ceremony on Monday 15th May. Grace Geyoro, Sakina Karchaoui, Elisa De Almeida and Kadi Diani are in the team of the season. The latter was also named best player, and finally, Lieke Martens' magnificent volley against Dijon was voted best goal.
