Karchaoui and Katoto prove key for France against Iceland
A France side featuring Paris Saint-Germain players Elisa De Almeida, Sakina Karchaoui, Griedge Mbock, Thiniba Samoura, Grace Geyoro and Marie-Antoinette Katoto earned a 3-2 win over their Icelandic counterparts at the Stade Marie Marvingt in Le Mans last night, on Matchday 2 of the group stage of the 2025 UEFA Women’s Nations League.
To mark the occasion, Karchaoui bagged an assist with a magnificent backheel that gave her club teammate Katoto the chance to score her 37th goal for Les Bleues.
