Fabrice Abriel: "We're going into the break with a clear head"

Fabrice Abriel and Jackie Groenen spoke to PSG TV after the Paris Saint-Germain Women's team beat FC Fleury 91 2-1 on Friday.

Fabrice Abriel

"Our pre-match objective was to make it 5 out of 5 so that we can go into the break with a clear head and think about other things. We're also going to prepare for the match that everyone is waiting for against Lyon. These are always very tight games when there's this sense of a derby and aggression. In recent years, we've seen 4-4s, a 1-0 victory in the Coupe de France final, these are always hard-fought games... But the important thing is that we manage to take what we need from a Paris Saint-Germain perspective. I was up against them so now I'm really happy to have the 3 points. We've got time, we've got 15 days, so those who aren't leaving will recover well. We'll be keeping an eye on playing time and travel arrangements for the players who will be leaving for international duty, and we'll be taking stock so that we arrive in the best possible condition for Lyon."

Jackie Groenen

"We won and it's good to take all three points. We got off to a good start, we could have been a bit stronger defensively but we had sequences where we played well and found the free player. We made it 5 out of 5. We've got a little break now before we go and play Lyon."
