Eva Gaetino extends her contract with Paris Saint-Germain
Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce that American defender Eva Gaetino has extended her contract with the club until 30th June 2026.
Gaetino was born in Chesapeake, Virginia, and raised in Dexter, Michigan, which is where her football career began at an early age with the Michigan Hawks. In 2020, she joined the Notre Dame Fighting Irish university team, and for four years, the young defender would rise through the team’s ranks alongside her compatriot and club teammate Korbin Albert.
Having joined Paris Saint-Germain in the most recent winter transfer window, Gaetino made her debut for Les Rouge et Bleu against Olympique Lyonnais on 11th February, providing her first assist for the club in the process. The American has now racked up a total of 16 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain across all competitions, with one goal and two assists to her name.
At international level, Gaetino has played five times for the United States’ U23s and was given her first-ever senior call-up in April for the SheBelieves Cup, a tournament that her side won.
"I'm very happy to be extending my contract with Paris Saint-Germain. These first six months at the club have been very intense and I'm already looking forward to starting this new season with my team-mates. We have a very ambitious squad and I'm ready to give everything to win as many titles as possible with this team", said Eva Gaetino.
The club would like to congratulate Eva on her contract extension and wish her a successful career with Les Rouge et Bleu.
