Echouafni: 'Cause an upset'

Paris Saint-Germain Women's coach Olivier Echouafni and midfielder Grace Geyoro spoke to PSG.fr after the capital club's 3-0 win over Rodez at the Stade Jean Bouin on Sunday:

"After the elimination at the hands of Chelsea, it was important to bounce back. Remotivating everyone wasn't easy, and it showed. We struggled physically, even if I rested several players. We played a focused game and scored three goals. This win gives us a chance to play for the title. The match against Lyon? First there's the international break... We have nearly two full weeks, but three-quarters of the squad will be travelling all over the world. We hope all the gilrs come back in top form and good health so we have every chance of causing an upset. Our opponents will be very strong, and there will be a lot riding on that match... everything we love about football!"

"Winning today was very important, especially to get over the loss to Chelsea, to move on... We know that we are a chance to win the league and that means winning games like this... It was pretty tough in the first half, but we took our chances and scored twice... The second half was better with a lot more movement. The third goal was good and made the game safe. We played well and gave nothing away. We did the job. The match against Lyon? It's a final. We need to approach the game in the best possible way and there'll be no shortage of motivation."
