Our women's team to face Lyon in the D1 final!
Paris Saint-Germain Women will take on their counterparts from Olympique Lyonnais in the D1 final at the Groupama Stadium in Décines-Charpieu on Friday 17 May (21:00).
Paris Saint-Germain, with one D1 title in their history (in 2021), finished the regular season in second place with 50 points from 22 matches (15 wins, five draws, two defeats) and qualified after beating Paris FC 2-2 (5-4 on penalties) in the play-off semi-finals at the Parc des Princes on Saturday. In accordance with the rules, they will now travel to the home of the team 11 points ahead of them in the standings (20 wins, one draw, one defeat). That tema is OL, who eliminated Stade de Reims 6-0 at Groupama Stadium on Sunday to advance to the final round of the competition, in which they hold the record for the most wins (16, from 2007 to 2020 and since 2022).
The Parisians and the Fenottes have already met five times this season, with the latter winning four times: in the Trophée des Champions (2-0 at the Stade de l'Aube in Troyes on 10/09/2023), in Round 2 of the league season (1-0 at the Parc des Princes on 01/10/2023), in the UEFA Women's Champions League semi-finals (3-2 at Groupama Stadium on 20/04/2024 and 2-1 in Paris on 28/04/2024). The sides drew in Round 15 of the league campaign (1-1 in Décines-Charpieu on 11/02/2024).
