Didier Ollé-Nicolle: 'A place in the final to go get'

The Paris Saint-Germain women's team coach wants his side to take a determined approach to Saturday's UEFA Women's Champions League semi-final with Lyon.

TEAM SPIRIT

"We're playing at home, so we'll be in the position we want to be in. We have to have a really good attitude. Our team is capable of doing better than we did at Lyon in terms of quality and collectively. Individually, the girls have a lot of potential still to be tapped. If they all do their job well by upping their game, with the support of the fans, we'll have all the ingredients to put in a very good performance. There's a match to be won, quite simply. It'll be a big party. We mustn't think too much about it beforehand. We know we have a lot of room for improvement on our first-leg display to turn things in our favour. The team that makes the fewest mistakes and is the most clinical will go through to the final. It's up to us to go get a place in the final."

first leg

"Overall, I liked the attitude of the team in Lyon, but we have to do better. We have already played better than that. Individually, the girls can exploit their potential more. I've been working with Barbora Votikova for 10 months now, she's saved us numerous times. We showed a little fragility in some situations. Accidents are part of the game."

WOMEN'S FOOTBALL

"There's a real change in the media coverage of women's football. We can see more games, which allows people to realise what the level is like. We have a team that is capable of doing some good things both collectively and tactically. The fans who watch women's football see a real show."
