Diallo: 'Win the league'
France international Aminata Dialllo looks back at the win over Fleury and ahead to the remainder of the season.
Aminata, the women's team won 4-0 over Fleury last Sunday. How did you analyse that win?
"We played very well, a strong performance and four goals scored. We rediscovered our scoring touch after the loss to Lyon (0-1). It was very important to win to stay in the hunt for the championship title. Despite being eliminated from the Coupe de France, we are still in the D1 and the Champions League. We want to win those trophies."
That Fleury win means you are already qualified for next season's Champions League...
"We had a good lead over the others for that qualification. It's a good thing that now it's certain. It's been a tough year for Paris FC and Montpellier, and we are happy that it's done. But that doesn't mean the league is over. Our aim now is to win the league."
When you play for Paris Saint-Germain, you have to be ambitious...
"Yes. We have to have big aims and we do. We will try to go as far as possible in the Champions League and in the D1 championship. We know that if we win every match in the league, we will have to chance to win it when we play Lyon away..."
