Canada are defeated but nevertheless qualify
Canada’s Ashley Lawrence and Jordyn Huitema were defeated 2-1 against the Netherlands in the final match day of the group phase of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Ashely Lawrence assisted the equalizing goal for Canada and Jordyn Huitema played the full 90 minutes. Despite this defeat, our Parisians and Canada will be at the round of 16, facing Sweden on June 24th.
