Alyssa Fernandes signs first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain
Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce that goalkeeper Alyssa Fernandes has signed her first professional contract with the club, keeping the Rouge et Bleu academy graduate in the French capital until 30th June 2027.
Aged seven, Fernandes began her playing career at Normandy-based outfit CMS Oissel. In 2016, she moved to US Quevilly-Rouen Métropole, staying there for four years before joining Paris Saint-Germain’s academy in 2020.
As a member of Paris’s youth setup, Fernandes eventually broke into the club’s U19 team, and on 8th May 2024, she made her first-team debut in a 2-1 defeat away to Stade de Reims in the Arkema Première Ligue.
Prior to that, the Paris player made her international debut in a 1-0 win for France’s U16s over Italy on 11th March 2022. Now a member of her country’s U19 side, Fernandes boasts 22 France caps at youth level.
“It’s an honour, a huge source of pride and a dream come true to sign my first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain, said Alyssa Fernandes. I can’t wait to start this new chapter of my career and to keep giving everything for the club.”
Paris Saint-Germain would like to congratulate Alyssa on signing her first professional contract and wishes her the best for the rest of her career at the club.
