Alyssa Fernandes: ‘An immense source of pride’
After signing her first professional contract with her academy club, the French U19 international spoke to PSG TV.
Alyssa, congratulations on signing your first professional contract! How are you feeling?
‘I'm very proud to sign this contract here, with my academy club. It's been a goal of mine since I arrived at the Academy. I'm really happy and proud to be able to represent Paris Saint-Germain and wear the colours at the highest level.'
What does that mean to you, having joined the club in 2020?
‘Becoming a professional footballer is an immense source of pride. It represents a lot of hard work. It's a reward for all the hard work I've put in at the academy. It's only the beginning, but in any case it's a source of great pride and happiness for me.'
What's your next goal?
‘My aim is to play at the highest possible level with Paris Saint-Germain. I'd like to win a lot of titles with the club, the the Première Ligue... and the Champions League!’
