Women's team with the kids from the Academy

On Wednesday, ten players from the Paris Saint-Germain Women's team, in the company of coach Olivier Echouafni and several members of his coaching staff visited the Paris Saint-Germain Academy at the UrbanSoccer centre in Guyancourt.

For the occasion, 15 young players from the Paris Saint-Germain Academies around the French capital got the opportunity to come and meet their idols.

Today, 70 young girls aged between 4 and 16 train throughout the year in the 19 centres of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy throughout France, benefitting from expert coaches passing on the Paris Saint-Germain philosophy and methodology.



"The aim of today, is to promote the women's section of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy," declared Benjamin Houri, Head coach of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy. "Today, we have 70 girls training at our centres around France and we are sure that these numbers will keep growing in the years to come. The Paris Saint-Germain Women's team has come to train with us today, played with the girls and signed a few autographs. It's been a really nice day."



It was a huge suprise for those present to see the professional players come and train and pass on a few words of wisdom and will surely have a big impact on the girls in the future. After training, Irene Paredes, Anissa Lahmari, Emma Berglund and Co. sta down for a session of Question and Answer with the kids, who asked them about the life of a professional player, their careers and about the club.

The day ended with the traditional autograph and photograph session - a day the youngsters are not likely to forget in a hurry.
