Yahia Omar: "A perfect evening"

Check out what Raul Gonzalez, Yahia Omar and David Balaguer had to say after the capital club's 29-23 victory over Montpellier on Liqui Moly StarLigue Matchday 9.

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain handball coach):

"I'm very pleased with this win. Montpellier played very well, especially in the first half. We showed determination and drive in the second half to turn the game around. Andreas was solid, and we were able to make our presence felt in attack. In the end, we won by six goals, and it's important for us to keep up this pace. We've worked well in the first half of the season. Now we need to get some rest during this week's international break."

Yahia Omar (Paris Saint-Germain handball centre-half):

"We put a lot of energy into this match; they're a physical team who run and made us run a lot. We had to work hard to win, and that's what we did. Andreas was incredible tonight, and Elohim was on fire, but that's just the way he is. You just give him the pass and he scores. It was a perfect evening. It's nice to go home for the international break after a win like this. So far, we're playing really well in the league and in the Champions League, so it's a perfect start to the season."

David Balaguer (Paris Saint-Germain handball right winger):

"The result of the match is based on two great defences. They were solid in the first half, and we were even more so after that. It's crucial to stick together in this type of game. I think we were able to take the lead at key moments, and we proved that it's not easy to come here and beat us. It's an important win, but there's still a long way to go in the league, and we still have a number of important fixtures before the winter break. For now, we need to enjoy ourselves and recover well before the return to action."
