What our internationals are up to
After claiming top spot on the Liqui Moly StarLigue table, Paris Saint-Germain Handball's players are now looking forward to an international break. Several of Les Rouge et Bleu will be on the court defending their national team's colours in qualifying for Euro 2024, which will be held in Germany in January.
France
Already qualified for the next Euro, France have chosen a very young squad for these last two matches of the group phase, with several key players rested. Elohim Prandi and Mathieu Grébille are part of the squad and will travel to Latvia on Wednesday 26 April before playing host to Italy in Rouen on Sunday 30 April. If they win, Les Bleus will end their qualification stage with perfect record - and top spot in Group 8.

PLOAND
The Poles are in the same group as France, but have not yet qualified for the Euros. Currently in second place, Kamil Syprzak and his teammates could very quickly make their presence in Germany official for next January. To do so, they will need a victory in Italy (27 April) or in Ostrow Wielkopolski, when they host Latvia. They could also qualify as the best third-placed team.

SPAIN
As finalists in the last edition (beaten in the final by Sweden, 26-27), Spain also have their ticket to the next Euros in hand. La Roja, which will feature Les Rouge et Bleu right-winger Ferran Sole Sala, will not be playing a qualifying match but will be taking part in the 2024 EHF Cup. With one win and three losses, the Spanish will try to get back on track in their last two games. They will first host Denmark (27 April, in Almeria) and then travel to Germany (30 April).

NETHERLANDS
The Netherlands are currently third in Group 5, but still have their fate in their hands. Firstly, because with five points they are one of the four best third-placed teams in this qualifying phase. But above all because they could take their place in the top two by beating Greece (currently leaders with six points) in Almere on the final day (30 April). Before that (26 April), Luc Steins' team will play a derby in Belgium.
