Vincent in the first-leg Best 7

That Paris Saint-Germain Handball managed to hold Kiel to a draw was largely due to their last line of defence: Vincent Gérard. The Parisian, who played a remarkable match against the Germans, was included in the team of the first leg of the EHF Champions League quarter-finals.

As evidenced by the magnificent double save that allowed him to finish third in the Top Saves, Vincent had a superb performance. He allowed his team to stay in the game while going through a difficult moment and to get back on level terms with the Zebras. No surprise that he was voted best goalkeeper of the European matchday.
