Vincent Gerard: 'This kind of defensive performance'

Check out what the Parisians had to say after their Velux EHF Champions League Matchday 4 win over Celje.

Jesus Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball assistant coach):
"We missed a lot of shots in the first half. But then we were able to accelerate and play better. The strong point of this meeting is obviously our defence. We are also very happy to have been able to offer Sadou some playing time. He is a player from the youth academy and he is one of those who can come and play with the first team. With this series of 51 games without defeat at home, the club makes a little more of a mark on the history of French handball, but also on European handball. We are aware that we will also have a lot of tough games coming up, so it's good to be confident."

Vincent Gerard (Paris Saint-Germain Handball 'keeper):
"We were wasteful in attack in the first half. But we managed it well because in defence we were very good, conceding just 18 goals tonight. I think that our difficulties up front pushed us to do better behind. It is with this kind of defensive performance that titles can be won. So we are really satisfied. Be it in the league or the Champions League, we will try to continue our unbeaten run as long as possible. Next week we'll play in Barcelona, and it looks complicated, but we have the weapons to get the job done."

Sadou N'Tanzi (Paris Saint-Germain Handball centre-half):
"Tonight we played in an arena with a very nice atmosphere. It's great to play in these conditions. I really enjoyed playing my first Champions League game. All my teammates encouraged me and pushed me to give my best. In the first half, the opposing goalkeeper caused us problems. It went better after that though and Louis Despreaux, my teammate at the youth academy, also got some playing time and I was very happy for him."
