Vincent GĂ©rard: 'Maybe the hardest part is already done'

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"We controlled the match. Our defence was strong from the beginning, and that allowed us to go back to the locker room with a four-goal lead. In the second half, even though Nantes managed to get back in the game, we earned the win. It's our 20th of the season in the championship and that's not nothing! After 20 rounds, it is an excellent result. We will be able to prepare for our upcoming games with even more peace of mind."

VINCENT GERARD (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL GOALKEEPER):

"We were in front the whole game, but Nantes never gave up. They managed to come back each time and it was only in the last ten minutes that we managed to break away. With a nine-point lead and a favourable goal-difference, maybe the hardest part is already done. But in sport, there are no foregone conclusions. We still have some difficult games to play. The wisest thing is to keep playing well and winning all our games."

BAPTISTE CLAY (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL CENTRE-HALF):

"It was a battle. Both teams put a lot of intensity in this game. But fortunately, in front of our fans, who spurred us from the beginning to the end, we were able to increase the gap at the end of the game and win. As a young player, to be able to be at these games - and even participate in them - is always an amazing feeling.

In terms of points, nothing is decided yet. There are still a lot of games to go, so we will have to continue like this until the end in order to be champions."
