Szeged clash cancelled, two points for Paris
On Thursday, Paris Saint-Germain Handball were scheduled to take part in the 14th and final Matchday of EHF Champions League Group A. However, this match will, in the end, not take place.
The two points for victory were awarded to the capital club by the EHF following the detection of COVID cases in Hungarian club's squad. Thus, Les Rouge et Bleu finish their group stage with 19 points. In case Kielce taste defeat when they [lay host to Flensburg on Thursday night, Paris will clinch second place in Group A and will face the seventh-placed team from the other group (currently Celje). If the Poles win or draw, the Parisians would finish third and potentially meet Nantes (currently seventh).
