Sadou N'Tanzi extend his contract with Paris and joins Toulouse

Paris Saint-Germain Handball have extended Sadou NTanzi's contract by two seasons. The centre-half, who is now linked to the Club until 30 June 2024, will play on loan with Fénix Toulouse until the end of the current season.

Sadou NTanzi joined the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy in 2017, and made his senior-team debut in April 2019, when Paris claimed victory away to Ivry. The 20-year-old signed his first professional contract with the Club last summer. In the Red and Blue jersey, he has played 18 Lidl Starligue matches, with a further nine appearances in the Champions League, scoring a total of 26 goals.

With the France's youth teams, the native of Longjumeau (Essonne) played in the European U18 Championship in 2018, earning a place in the tournament's Best 7, and then the World U19 Championship in the summer of 2019.

"It's a new challenge for me," explained Sadou NTanzi. "In Toulouse, I'm going to do my best to contribute to the success of my new team. I'm looking forward to meeting my teammates and finding out what lies ahead. The conditions are there to continue my progress and enrich my game. While waiting to return to Paris in a few months' time, I wish Les Rouge et Bleu a great season."

"Sadou is one of the moat promising players of his generation," emphasised Paris Saint-Germain General Manager Jean-Claude Blanc. "With FĂ©nix Toulouse Handball, he will have more playing time and will take advantage of that fact to improve his game. All the experience he acquires over the coming months will undoubtedly be beneficial for the rest of his career, but also for the Club, as he will be returning to our squad at the end of the season."
