Sadou Ntanzi: 'Everyone enjoyed themselves'

After Paris Saint-Germain Handball's 37-27 victory over Limoges on the first day of the Liqui Moly StarLigue season, find out what Raul Gonzalez, David Balaguer and Sadou Ntanzi had to say.

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"It's always difficult, the first game, but I'm happy because we were able to win. I think we had a very good first half. The attack worked and the keeper was incredible. After that, we managed to make the difference and it worked for us. We've made a lot of changes and we're taking things one step at a time. It's our first official match, so we have to be happy and we have to keep improving."

"We've played a lot of competitions, the Coupe, the Trophée des Champions, now the league and soon the EHF Champions League. We can't wait to get started because it's a competition we really enjoy. It'll be our first game away from home, which is always complicated, but we'll be looking to win."

DAVID BALAGUER (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL RIGHT WINGER):

"We played a very complete match. We were able to rotate our squad and the score was already very close at the start of the match. Everyone was able to play, everyone was able to enjoy themselves and we gave it everything we had, and that's the most important thing. It's only the start of the championship, but we're on the right track."

"We're aware that it's going to be very complicated in the Champions League. We've got a tough group and I think it's very exciting to start with an away match against Szeged. It's a good test to start the competition with."

SADOU N'TANZI (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL CENTRE-HALF):

"We tried to play a complete match; we started strongly in defence, we got on the ball and scored some easy goals. That meant we could rotate players quite quickly and I think everyone enjoyed themselves, even the crowd. We're happy to have been able to see our supporters again."

"There were some new recruits, and they had to adapt to Raul's game plan. But with every game, we see progress and that's what's important. We're ready for the Champions League, there are still a few days to prepare, but we'll be ready to fight a big battle."
