Rodrigo tops the Top Saves

Rodrigo Corrales turned in a stunning performance in goal as Paris Saint-Germain Handball saw off Celje on Sunday evening, the Spaniard showcasing his efficiency and technical prowess.

Clean through on goal, Croatian pivot Kristian Beciri likely didn't think he would have too much trouble getting past the 'keeper in order to score. However, at near-point blank range, Rodrigo came out on top. Beciri had flung himself in to the Parisian area before unleashing a powerful shot, but it crashed back off the Spaniard's left foot. Corrales had conjured a superb reflex save, bringing his leg up smartly and seeing off the goal-bound effort. Thanks to this excellent piece of skill, Rodrigo took top spot among the Top Saves for Velux EHF Champions League Round 13. Still, this was just one of his 19 saves (37%) on the night.
